A Puppy Birthday Party in McKinney Texas

SHARE STORY:

We at Keestone Events love dogs. I adore my doggie Milo to death, Maddie has her bull terrier Frankie, Victoria lives with two little rascals- Panda and Remi, and Ashley grew up with a ton of animals. It was easy then to plan a puppy party / styled shoot that would both be super cute and fun for the dogs.

That being said, today’s post is written by Maddie!

In a recent collaboration between Keestone Events and several fabulous vendors (plus a few very patient friends), eight of our favorite canine friends got to attend their very own doggy birthday party. Unbeknownst to the party animals who attended, hard work was actually going on around them to pull off this original and adorable styled shoot.

Upon arrival, each “guest” was adorned with a celebratory bowtie and party hat for the event and invited to their own place at the formal dining table.

This was featured in Kara’s Party Ideas.

In honor of the birthday boy, Lucky, the table and dining area were laid with festive yet sophisticated décor. The participating vendors worked together to find the perfect color scheme (a mix of neutrals with pops of red) and just the right balance of elegance and fun. Fine letter press invitations and hand-crafted paper banners were complimented by an assortment of toys and treats for the guests, as well as individual doggy bowls.

And the spread was completed by a most decadent bone-covered doggy cake. After finding their place (indicated with custom place cards) and posing for a few group photos, the dogs were free to leave the table for party time. Some chose to sit together wearing signs expressing their thoughts.

The rowdier bunch preferred to run and play outside.

And everyone said yes to a piece of doggy-friendly birthday cake and chowed down on the patio. After a hard day of partying each tuckered-out pup went home for a nap, party favor in hand.
