We are wrapping up our “Meet the Planner” series with the final introduction of yours truly. We are in a series introducing our Dallas wedding planners so you can better get a sense of who we are, along with what each of us has been up to during quarantine. I have been writing the captions for all the other planners and it would be so awkward if I referred to myself in third person. I used to do that when I was a toddler (“Sarah hungry!”) but have thankfully grown out of it.
Hi! My name is Sarah, and I’m an event planner over at Keestone Events. We’re a Dallas based business and have been around for over seven years now which feels surreal to even think about.
It is incredibly fulfilling for me to see an event that is both personalized to our clients and well-executed. One of the best parts about being in this business is getting to plan for one of the happiest days for our couples, and help them start a new chapter in their journey. It’s very important to me the day is one where they will look back fondly at for years to come!
I believe in truly getting to know people and take note of the details. It’s a goal for me to create an event brimming with personal touches and charming aspects that is unique to each couple. Getting better in this role is something I continuously strive to do, so you will see me attending workshops, conferences and taking classes to ensure that our clients get the best we have to offer.
Fun facts about me:
1. I have moved fourteen times. Growing up, my dad’s job uprooted us a lot and I spent half my life in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Beijing. I learned to adapt quickly and thankfully, thrived with all the relocations!
2. Now that I’ve put roots down on a home in Dallas, I have learned about things I could have cared less about before. Ask me all your questions about paint, fence stains and grass.
3. I have to sleep at night with one leg sticking out from under the covers. It’s a way to stay cool!
During the quarantine, I’ve been staying busy with painting and DIY projects around the house.
