Lisa + Tony’s Backyard Wedding at Trophy Club, Texas

Today’s blog post is written by Ashley!

This small backyard wedding was a truly amazing event, with some of the best food truck cuisine we have ever tasted, fabulous music, and a lovely couple to center it all around! This is a second marriage for both Lisa and Tony. They had big wedding productions in the past and this time, they opted for an intimate event for close friends and family. The pair wanted it to be more of a party where everyone could let loose and enjoy themselves. And party it was!

The weather was perfect, all the guests had fun and the vendors we worked with made everything flow so effortlessly. Thanks to the band The Westsiders, the mood was set with danceable country music the entire night. Cowboy boots and all, the wedding party pulled the ‘Boots, Booze and a Band’ theme together perfectly! Even the flowers by Devin Design Flowers had a casual and relaxed vibe to them which really made the inside and outside of the house pop.

The great thing about more intimate events is being able to talk to everyone. We got to meet so many lovely family and friends of Lisa and Tony, who had nothing but wonderful things to say about the couple. 0604_D3N_3694

Our photographer Sil Azevedo got some great shots of this wedding, making sure no small detail was left out! 0216_D3N_3393 0222_D3N_3404

There were also some fabulous shots of the food truck, the Gastro Bomber, which had some delicious food to showcase. 0017_D3N_3227 0242_D3N_3422 0247_D3N_3427

Their Fish and chips were to die for, as well as their appetizer “pig toes” which were tater tots wrapped in bacon! Yummy! The Gastro Bomber also ran a full bar for the party with friendly bartenders. Their food and drinks were popular with the whole crowd and there was something there for everyone. 0166_D3N_3342 0182_D3N_3359 Before the ceremony started, a short clip was played which Take 4 Studio filmed. This wasn’t your typical highlight reel either, but depicted Lisa and Tony sitting in front of the camera, in an interview style that told their story. 0421_D3N_3544 0383_D3S_9362 0357_D3S_9343 0347_D3S_93320099_D3S_92720610_D3S_9475

It was amazing to see so many friends and family come together to celebrate such a special couple. The majority of the night was spent reminiscing, laughing and talking – exactly how Lisa and Tony wanted their special day to be.   0508_D3S_9445 0652_D3N_3733

The intimacy really made this wedding what it was. We always love how different every one of our events is from the others we have done. Every family is different, and we enjoy getting to know so many special people.
