Loves adventure, animals and happy things
This is the third installment of the ‘get-to-know-us’ better blog series. One of my goals for 2014 is to have a site where readers can not only understand the depth and breadth of wedding + event planning work that Keestone Events does, but to see our respective personalities and the type of people we are.
There will always be event ideas and wedding inspiration but you’ll also begin to see little bits and stories about the team as well.
I digress. Here goes!
I enjoy my job tremendously. Because of that, I work a lot. Sometimes, I don’t even realize that hours have passed, the sun has set hours ago and I am starving because I forgot to eat lunch and it’s 8:45 PM. I’m also the kind of person who always has to be working on something otherwise I start getting antsy and feel unproductive. There’s so much to do and I want, nay, need to cross those tasks off my to-do list. I know…I need to get out more but it is just so SATISFYING.
In those rare periods of free time however, you’ll find me watching a whole lot of Food Network and reality TV (I ADORE shows like Shark Tank, The Profit, The Amazing Race and 20/20) while catching up on Candy Crush simultaneously – don’t judge please. I also really like cooking and you might find me whipping up some random concoction I thought of. Sometimes it pays off but then there are those moments when it turns out to be a disaster never to be spoken off again i.e. my horrific version of curried eggplant. Poor Austin is my guinea pig and has since developed an iron stomach.
One of my favorite pleasures in life though is laying on the couch with Milo my dog, reading a book while drinking soup. I know it sounds random but there’s just something really comforting about this combo! And okay, I know I’m not doing any of what I described in the image below but I don’t really have any pictures of me with Milo. It’s mostly me taking pictures of him being handsome.
Traveling is another huge passion of mine. Having moved around so much in different countries and cities has really made me appreciate all that is out there and I am always down to travel anywhere. I’ve moved 15 times and no, I’m not in witness protection but a lot of it was due to my father’s job when younger. There’s just so much to see in the world and you can bet I’ll be trying my hardest to do it all!
