What does a wedding planner do?

Think of us as your personal project manager, fully dedicated to bringing your vision to life. We work hard to take care of details that are often overlooked so you can focus on what truly matters - celebrating your union! From developing your color palette and creating a thoughtful floorplan to handling unexpected vendor issues and developing contingency plans for inclement weather, we strive to stay a step ahead. In a nutshell, we find solutions to situations and often times, the couple has no idea that we had to do so!

Do I need a planner?

Not necessarily. It is always possible to have a wedding without a planner, but it is inevitably more work, and you may potentially require help from friends or family to keep everything on track which means someone (or multiple people) are working that day instead of enjoying the celebration as a guest. It is also easy to be overwhelmed by the amount of vendor options out there, not to mention reviewing their contracts, and identifying reputable and reliable vendors. Having been in business for over a decade, we have cultivated strong relationships with trusted professional vendors we know can deliver. Even the most organized couples often discover that balancing the joy of the day with the long list of details can shift what should be a celebration into a source of stress and anxiety.

How do you charge for your services?

We value transparency, which is why we charge a flat fee. Here’s a snapshot of our package options:

Our base package, Month-of-Coordination starts at $4,500. This is ideal for couples who’ve done most of the planning and just need help bringing everything together in the final stretch.
For those seeking more guidance, we offer Quarter and Partial Planning options, which vary based on the level of customization and involvement you’re looking for.
Full Planning is our most comprehensive package, and many of our clients opt for this when they want support from start to finish.

However, not every celebration fits neatly into a package—which is why we also create custom proposals tailored to your needs. Your guest count, entertainment preferences, planning timeline, and overall vision all play a role in determining the scope of our involvement.

I am interested in a la carte services. Is this something you can offer?

To maximize their investment, most couples choose one of our packages. However, if you have specific needs, we offer a variety of standalone services, including venue searches, design boards, room block management, creation of day-of items, gift basket sourcing, and concierge services. If there’s something unique you’re interested in that isn’t listed, please feel free to reach out!

How many weddings do you handle at one time?

Each of our planners will only take on one wedding per weekend and sometimes only one wedding per month so we can fully dedicate ourselves to your wedding when the time comes. We are committed to providing a quality experience that shines through on your big day.

What happens if you are unavailable on our wedding day?

In the unlikely event that a planner is unavailable on your wedding day, our experienced team is prepared to step in. We aim for a smooth transition by including your replacement planner in all communications ahead of time, so they can become familiar with your plans and meet with you prior to the event, helping you feel supported and prepared.
