Tzahhia started 2020 off strong for us, planning and executing our first wedding of the year and ended it on a high note with Maggie + Rob’s December celebration.

2020 was undoubtedly the year of reschedules and pivoting as Covid continued to ravage the world. Unfortunately, cases continued to rise and many of our couples were forced to make some very difficult decisions on whether they were able to reschedule, cancel altogether, or drastically reduce the initial guest count.

Maggie + Rob decided to cut their guest list significantly and limit their wedding at The Milestone to just their bridal party and immediate family for a very intimate celebration. It was a thoughtful gesture on their end and they had precautions in place throughout the wedding. During their ceremony, everyone but the couple, officiant, and the bride’s mother wore a mask. When the bridal party walked down the aisle, they were all in masks. This continued to the reception, even during dancing. The reception was also socially distanced with four to a table for guests, while the bride and groom sat at their own sweetheart table. Despite the smaller count, their wedding was a lot of fun, especially on the dance floor. One of their groomsmen really stepped up and made the night! You always want that one friend who will start the night off and he did not disappoint.

Although this was not the celebration the couple had originally envisioned, they made the most of their hand and made it a day to remember with the people most important to them. They also wholeheartedly embraced the Christmas spirit, from hanging stockings on the mantle to garlands adorning the stairs to mistletoe hanging over the door frame and a holiday-themed invitation suite. Congratulations to Maggie + Rob! ⠀

Below is the wonderful review Maggie left for Tzahhia!

“Tzahhia was a fantastic coordinator! Since hiring her in the wake of the pandemic, she was flexible, understanding and supportive as she helped with our wedding planning. Tzahhia gave plenty of suggestions and ideas that were helpful in our planning process. When we made the decision to downsize the wedding due to the rise in COVID cases, Tzahhia easily helped us make the transition in our plan for a scaled back wedding. The day of the wedding, she and her assistant were always present and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.”
