This post is long overdue, but we have moved into a new space with a few favorite industry friends. Excited was an understatement as we all agreed it was high time for a change for our Dallas wedding planners. Our little conclave is made up of various categories of vendors and within our group, we have:
Little known fact, we have been studiomates for almost five years now and have enjoyed working with each other so much that we all wanted to move together! While the new space was a welcome change, the bare walls were in desperate need of some color. It made sense then to create a photoshoot based on our strengths to fill up the walls.
Thus, this editorial was born. It initially began as a very loose take on Marie Antoinette but gradually evolved into a whimsical and more modern shoot with sleek gowns, minimal gold jewelry and colorful florals. To tie on the playful vein we were on, we were hand-stringing flowers to give the space a sense of the ethereal. It also brought about a movement and fragility to the space that helped accentuate the femininity and elegance of the models. We wanted the rest of the editorial to be a good contrast against the flowers and showcase the estate, which the stone slabs were a perfect complement to the silky dresses!
We truly hope you love the images as much as we do. Fun fact – most of our models were former Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders!
This shoot was also featured in MITH Magazine.
