Note: Today’s blog post is written by our amazing intern, Victoria!

 

I recently had the privilege of working with Keestone Events planner Maddie, to organize Brooklyn’s 1^st Birthday Party at The Lodge at Austin Ranch. We definitely had a blast! Hope you enjoy some of the highlights of our day. Shout out to Maddie for making all of the décor, that girl is amazing!

Setting up always takes a lot longer than expected but we were prepared and arrived hours earlier!

The FOOD!

Serving a feast of; deviled eggs, carved watermelon whale filled with various fruits, crackers and meat & cheese platters.

Cake and smash cake were beautifully created by Tastefully Yours Cakes.

Guests loved the cake (vanilla with whipped cream icing).

Everyone was pleasantly surprised when Brooklyn’s smash cake exploded because there was a balloon inside! Little Brooklyn excitedly played with her cake while guest and father (Johan) proudly took pictures of the sweet moment.

 

Here are some more décor places that we had set up.

This mermaid has a funny story, it was terribly hard to find a spot for her to fit in but we rolled with it and finally stuck her in a colorful backdrop by the tables.

The babies also had a designated playroom where the alphabet mats were set up, it doubled as a great area for moms to feed or change diapers.

We had a photo booth set up with a bucket full of props for the guest to have fun with.

When the party was all over, the children each received bucket party favors full of goodies!
