We were thrilled to say farewell to 2020 and begin a new year. Jennifer + Mason kicked off the year for us with their wedding at Hotel Crescent Court, planned by Stephanie, one of our lead Dallas wedding planners. This couple had to reschedule their wedding three times because of the pandemic so to say we were elated that this wedding finally happened was an understatement.
Jennifer left Stephanie the sweetest review:

Stephanie was so wonderful to work with – we had to move our wedding date twice due to COVID-19 and Stephanie was a constant source of help and support throughout the crazy wedding planning process. She is very organized (a spreadsheet for everything!) and so friendly and easy to work with. We finally got our dream wedding day and Stephanie was a huge part of making that happen for us! :)”

Mason and I met on a dating app! Our first date was at Dot’s in Deep Ellum – we laugh about it now because Mason offered to take me to dinner but I thought that was too much of a commitment for an app first date, so we met for Thursday drinks instead. We both worked downtown and kept meeting for lunch and other dates in the area. We loved exploring Dallas and going to see live music. Mason and I had so much fun together and the rest is history!
What was your vision for the wedding?
We wanted a classic and timeless vision for the wedding where our guests could feel comfortable and have fun! We also wanted to get married near downtown Dallas since that is where we met and fell in love. The Crescent was the perfect venue for our vision with it’s beautiful courtyard and garden room, it was a dream come true.
What was your favorite part of the day?
My favorite part of the day was right after the ceremony, the two of us got to go to a private room during the cocktail hour. It was the first time we got to see each other alone that day and we could relax and catch up before the reception. It was the best feeling because we could reminisce about the morning and the things we loved about the ceremony but we still had the entire reception waiting for us! We were so excited and really got to live in the moment. I will also never forget dancing at our reception!
Were there any sentimental moments/ items incorporated to the wedding?
My parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary a few months before our wedding, which was really special. I carried my mom’s wedding bouquet during our ceremony rehearsal (she actually had silk flowers at her wedding) and our wedding invitations were designed to be similar to theirs. Mason and I also wrote each other a letter to read during our first look and it was such a sweet moment. I will treasure that letter forever!
Wedding planning is so fun but all the decision making can be overwhelming! We worried so much about making the perfect choices and having all the details organized but it’s incredible how how everything had a way of falling into place perfectly on the day of the wedding. And all the anticipation and planning made the day that much sweeter. It’s also true how people say it’s a blur, but the best day of your life!
