Sarah and Shan’s Hindu wedding Frisco celebration at Omni PGA was elegant, intentional, and deeply rooted in their Indian traditions. They wanted a bright outdoor ceremony and a romantic reception, and watching their vision unfold was incredibly fulfilling
One of our favorite parts of the day was hearing guests gasp as they saw the ceremony altar. The large all white blooms on a white stage was unexpected, and it was the best feeling to see if come to life! Thank you for entrusting us with this chapter, Sarah and Shan!
Some of our brides are kind enough share a few words regarding their day, giving viewers a sneak peek behind-the-scenes. In Sarah’s words about hosting a Hindu wedding:
What was your vision for the wedding?
We envisioned something simple but that still honored our indian traditions. We wanted a bright, outdoor wedding and a romantic reception.
What was your favorite part of the day?
We loved seeing our wedding space for the first time! The setup was better than anything we could have imagined. We had inspiration photos, but the final outcome took that inspiration and made it better!
What unique elements or DIY details did you include?
Marigolds were symbolic for us. We mentioned this to Stephanie (planner), and she incorporated them into our custom bar and signage for the tables. She also made sure we had marigolds in all our centerpieces. Stephanie also came up with the idea for a custom dance floor in the colors we wanted!
What advice do you have for other couples/brides-to-be?
Get a wedding planner and go with Keestone! Our wedding had a lot of details, and everything came together with very little stress on our part as the couple. We loved working with Stephanie!
