Let me begin by telling you a little about Josie and Andrew. They are fun, down-to-earth and overall a fantastic couple! I always looked forward to meetings with them, and it never felt like- dare I say it- ‘work’. In fact, it seemed like we had been friends for a long time and conversation was always flowing and fun.
I’m so excited to be sharing their wedding story with you here on the blog. A huge thank you to the amazingly talented Sam of Sunny 16 Photography for sharing these images with me! He has such a good eye- I was seriously swooning over these shots.
I digress. The day before their wedding, Victoria and I headed down to the W Austin to get the weekend started.
The next morning while Josie was getting ready, Andrew had not one but FOUR gifts presented to her via his trusty groomsmen. Oh and let me tell you, all her bridesmaids and everyone else in the room (pretty sure the videographers too!) were drooling. He had bought her four pairs of gooorgeous shoes!
Then it was Andrew’s turn to receive a gift from Josie- a watch!
Getting ready.
Love this picture! It’s when Andrew first saw Josie about to walk down the aisle. Usually all eyes are on the bride but I like watching the groom for genuine, heart-warming reactions like these.
The beautiful bride!
St. Vincent de Paul was where they had their ceremony.
Post ceremony pictures:
So fierce!
First dance:
Sometime during the reception, Altared Weddings played a same day edit of highlights that occurred throughout the day. They did a fabulous job that had everyone so enthralled. See image below.
And The Violin Guy mesmerized and wowed with his crazy ability to sing, play the violin on steroids and put on a ridiculous show that dazzled. There was smoke, lasers, lights…basically the only thing lacking was fire but I’m pretty sure he’ll work it in there somehow someday!
After all that dancing, it was time to go and they had a beautiful sparkler exit!
