Without fail each year, we at Keestone Events inevitably have some sort of weather scare at least once.

For this October wedding, Ashley was coordinating and the weather looked ominous with a thunderstorm on the horizon.

Ashley’s words:

Fortunately, the weather cleared up just in time for us all to enjoy the gorgeous scenery of A Woman’s Garden at the Dallas Arboretum!

Kate and Jordan had a sunset wedding. This way truly a family affair with Kate’s Aunt, Reverend King as the Officiant while her uncle and his saxophone quartet provided the music for the ceremony. This was something we had yet to have at one of our weddings and it was a really nice touch to incorporate personal touches to the wedding to make it all the more memorable.

Did I mention this lively wedding was Texas A&M themed? From the maroon sequined linens, to the spectacular Reveille cake, this affair was bleeding maroon all the way to the Aggie war hymn at the end of the night.

The coordinators and staff at the Arboretum did an amazing job coming up with an alternate plan just in case the weather decided not to cooperate. We love working with venue coordinators since it makes things flow so much more effortlessly when one side is taking care of the contingency plan while the other ensures everything on the front end is as flawless as possible.

This weather for this wedding had one of the best outcomes we could hope for and was so much fun to work on! A huge thanks to every single vendor who made sure this wedding went off without a hitch no matter what the weather looked like.
