Much of our efforts are focused on weddings, but we do love planning for other events as well. When Q reached out to Sarah, one of our lead Dallas event planners, to plan her maternity shoot, the inspiration flowed. We came up with two concepts to celebrate the mama-to-be. The first was an old-world styled shoot, inspired by Tuscany. It helped that the location we shot at oozed European vibes with imported stone from Italy and architecture reminiscent of the country. The spiral stone staircase and towering columns asked nay, screamed at us to capture its elegance and it would have been a travesty to deny the private home that right.

The outfits selected were purposefully loose and billowy as a contrast against the lines of the structure. To retain that same balance, free-flowing leaf installations were set up against the stone. It was my hope that the images would easily stand the test of time for years to come and be one that Q can share in the future with her kid(s).

We teamed up with a few favorite colleagues to keep this session intimate and low key and the end result is below.
