Lila + John Marc are effortlessly cool (I do not use this word lightly!) and their wedding was one that was chockful of details, unique to them both. They met in College Station, where both attended Texas A&M University and Grace Bible Church. It was nice to go down memory lane with them since I used to attend A&M and Grace Bible Church as well! I digress.
They were needing a month-of coordinator to help them tie up loose ends with their Brake and Clutch Wedding, stick to the budget and ensure that the flow of the day was efficient. Kristin, one of our Dallas wedding planners, was the perfect wedding planner for them as she is second to none with details, and was able to step in and make sure everything was good to go come the day of the wedding. The couple have a minimal aesthetic, and were not afraid of the color black. This was a perfect complement to the industrial vibe of Brake and Clutch Warehouse, with its exposed brick and concrete floors.
Instead of a wedding cake, they opted for a tiered cookie cake and a vinyl guestbook bar instead of what you traditionally see. John Marc plays music for their church and also surprised Lila with a song during the reception. Both enjoy music tremendously and it was amazing to be able to tie in these elements to their big day.
