It is the biggest compliment when a former bride refers her friend over, and that is how Stephanie found us! Sarah, one of our lead Dallas wedding planners at Keestone Events planned Stephanie and Foster’s wedding.

At the time of planning, both Stephanie and Foster lived outside of Texas, completing their residencies with her in Wisconsin and him in New Orleans. We really feel for our couples who are in the medical field. They are always swamped, tired, and overworked. They barely get enough sleep as is and have to deal with planning a wedding on top of it!

As the couple’s schedule left them barely any free time, Stephanie’s mother was able to step in instead to help select her vendors. Stephanie really trusted her mom enough to get her style and on that end, her mom wanted to do her daughter justice and select something she truly liked.

Their wedding at the Dallas Museum of Art had a lot of little details that stood out. To top it off, Stephanie’s mother is a stationery vendor and it was really sweet to see the stationery suite that her mom had specifically designed for her as it was a true labor of love! Stephanie knew that she liked the deep burgundy color so that was incorporated in paper and flowers to name a few. The couple also opted to have tacos as their late-night snack because of a personal story. Stephanie and Foster had been dating for a while, but neither had said “I love you” just yet. She had bought him tacos one day and in a rush of gratitude, Foster just exclaimed, “I love you!” then was horrified and tried to play it off and explain that he loved tacos. “Sarah and her team at Keestone Events did an amazing job with our wedding. She was incredibly patient, detail-oriented, and efficient in making sure everything was squared away and thought through for the wedding day.

While we got married in Dallas, both my husband and I live out of state and have time-consuming jobs, so it was essential that we had a planner who was willing to work with our schedules and adapt when needed- Sarah did exactly that! She gave excellent recommendations for our vendors and really listened to what we wanted; for example, when we didn’t feel that we were on the same page as the first few florists we talked to, she put us in touch with another who was perfect for us.

The wedding day itself could not have gone any smoother- everything and every vendor was in the right place at the right time and Sarah made sure that everything continued to go perfectly throughout the night. So many of our guests commented on how fun and seamless the wedding was, which was in large part because of Sarah!
