Jennifer + Chance are a lot of fun and this showed in spades at their summer wedding at The Lodge at The Springs. Take for instance, their ceremony. Typically you hear a soft instrumental playing for the bridal party as they walk down the aisle. For this couple, they had their trio of flower girls walk down to The Final Countdown (yes, you read correctly) and all dumped their baskets with the remaining flowers once they had reached the end of the aisle. It made for a very memorable moment!

The DJ was someone they had gotten to know well, as they were regulars at the venue said DJ played at. It was important to them to have a celebration with an upbeat, happy vibe so bringing someone from the outside who already knew them made sense.

One reason the venue stood out so much to them was that it had a rustic vibe without being a barn. Jennifer’s family has a home in Colorado and The Lodge had a similar vibe with great views, which made for the perfect location for them. Real antlers were provided by the couple that were incorporated to the decor. Jennifer + Chance took their engagement photos in Fredericksburg and wine barrels were used for decor, which was a way to tie things back in there as well. Fun fact- they also had wine barrel tops as their guestbook which continued with that theme!

It made for a truly lovely day and we were honored to have been a part of it.
