V+L’s wedding took place in early October at the serene Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas. We were so excited for the sweet couple to finally tie the knot after having to postpone their wedding due to Covid. They opted for a smaller wedding of about 75 guests, many of whom, flew in for V+L’s special day.

It was important to the couple that they honor their Chinese roots during their wedding. They incorporated their Chinese heritage through the following elements:

  • The bride changed into traditional attire during the reception
  • The father of the groom gave a speech in English while the father of the bride gave a speech in Chinese
  • Chinese knots were on each place setting (but in blue to match the color palette)
  • The groom performed Chinese yo-yo tricks with friends
