Our corporate event planners found themselves in Denver recently for a multi-day corporate event. It was the third year we’ve planned for this company and each year, it gets larger.
For this client, we had a two day general session and an off site Oscars themed awards ceremony, on top of another day specifically for their executive team.
Corporate is so different from weddings with last minute changes and pivots, especially with a bigger group. Stephanie was parked at the tech table managing the respective run of shows, helping run rehearsals and adjusting all the slide decks to ensure things would run smoothly for all the respective events. We also handled all the welcome bags, printing products, awards, etc. to help make it as seamless as possible.
Since the awards ceremony was to be a more formal event, Ironworks was the perfect location as it has gold gilded ceilings, black trim and red carpeting throughout the space. Throw in a few crystal chandeliers and we had ourselves the best venue for the Oscars theme that the client wanted.
To add to the ambiance, we had a step and repeat with stanchions and red carpet, with two emcees asking attendees questions. It was really nice seeing everyone dressed to the nines and being able to celebrate the achievements that they’ve worked immensely hard on the past year.
The past few days were long ones for us, ranging from 6 am-2 am, but we had very happy clients at the end which made it all so worth it. We’re already pumped for next year!
