To say we loved planning Scott’s Masters golf themed housewarming is an understatement. He was game for every idea and trusted us completely to bring the vision to life. As Dallas event planners, we love a client who lets us go all in, and this party was the perfect example of what happens when a theme is carried through every detail.

Guests were greeted by a “pro shop” cap wall where they could grab a hat to take home and get into the swing of things. From there, we really leaned into tournament details with a custom logo, caddie-uniformed vendors in corresponding hats, and Scott himself arriving in his green jacket.

The menu really paid tribute to Masters tradition, with pimento cheese finger sandwiches wrapped in custom Masters paper, Azalea cocktails, Georgia peach tarts, and peach gelato. Vestals Catering really hit it out of the park by elevating the tournament’s famously simple concessions with elevated twists: like Truffle and asparagus deviled eggs as hors d’oeuvres, to fried chicken biscuits with honey butter, mini flatbread pizzas.

Fittingly enough, Scott’s new home backs up to a championship golf course with a Par-5 just beyond the fence. A nice touch was a display of golf balls as part of his home decor that were unearthed during the landscape renovation.
