On top of weddings, our Dallas event planners also plan for other events like parties, corporate galas, and even proposals. ⁠

A few weeks back, we had the opportunity to celebrate little Gracie who turned two. She had a barnyard themed birthday party complete with petting zoo, hay bales, food wagons and dessert cart to name a few. Anna Smith was our rockstar photographer for this event.

Due to Covid, this was an event where we tried to make it as safe of a space as possible with social distancing measures. We had attendants taking temperatures and a table that held masks and rubber bracelets for guests to wear. The bracelets were a way to let others know their comfort level with social distancing. We also had staff in masks and gloves who were the only ones serving from the food wagons and pouring drinks for guests. Cookies were all individually wrapped with hand sanitizers at each table and gloves were available at the petting zoo for those who wanted them. ⁠

Planning for this party was different. Just a few months ago, the phrase “social distancing” was unheard of and now, we need to take these factors into consideration. It’s not easy and a lot more work but at the end of the day, when you see the bright, beaming smile of the birthday girl, it was worth it! ⁠
