French Inspired Bridal Shower | Keestone Events

I have a different sort of styled shoot for you. Instead of a wedding, our Dallas event planners wanted to highlight the bridal luncheon. Our inspiration was the Parisian aesthetic, and we channeled that to put a twist on what you typically see.

Magnolias ‘Sous le Pont’ is a café that recently opened, and I could hardly believe how perfectly its name and décor tied in with the theme of the shoot. It means ‘under the bridge’ and the bright blue-green shade of its walls was the loveliest complement to the neutral fall tones of everything else.

I believe one of the reasons Paris is such a special city is due to the level of detail you find in its architecture. It was crafted with so much precision that its buildings still stand the test of time hundreds of years later. We wanted to evoke the same level of care, and craft a luncheon that is as chic and effortless as our Parisian inspiration. To do so, we wanted to focus on the details such as the stationery suite. On top of the main invitation that was handwritten in gold calligraphy, Gypset Creative also drew a sketch of the café, with its address, along with matching RSVP card.

Along with that, silk scarves with name tags doubled both as a favor and place card. To continue making each attendee feel special, glasses with their names etched in calligraphy was placed at their seat.

We also wanted to blend both the new and old together. The bride’s dress was a modern, white Nha Khanh original with very clean lines. It’s something you see often in the streets of Paris, and we wanted to offset this with vintage jewelry that tells a story.

This shoot was featured in 100 Layer Cake.
