Sarah, one of our Dallas wedding planners, said, “I absolutely LOVED planning Katie + Alan’s wedding from this Spring. This couple couldn’t be more different from the other, but it just works and the love radiating from both of them (and their friends) throughout the day was palpable and heartfelt. After spending months planning with the duo, it’s easy to see that they care a lot for each other and truly take into consideration the opinions of the other person, always putting their feelings first”.

Sidenote – a solid sense of humor never hurt anyone either, and it’s something that these two definitely possess.

Both have demanding jobs, and it is so appreciated whenever trust is placed to the vendors to be able to execute the day well. Think about your vendor team as your own fantasy football team where you have spent time and effort coming up with what you think is the best team to help see your wedding through. On the day of your wedding, regardless of whether you are the most laid back person or Type A, there comes a point where things are out of control and you just have to trust your vendors to pull through.

Case in point, on the day of Katie + Alan’s wedding, Dallas decided to unleash monsoon season all week so we reverted to Plan B. Although the original vision was to have the ceremony outdoors, the grounds were just too soggy that day and we had no choice but to move things indoors. Although Katie could have been stressed out about it, she took the day in stride and allowed the vendor team to set up the ceremony in Arlington Hall in a way that we felt would fit the indoor option well.

Ultimately the florals were a hit with the couple and guests alike, AND, there was an unexpected bonus. The organic arch stayed throughout the reception and added a lovely backdrop against the tables and chairs.

Overall, it was a wonderful celebration with a packed dance floor all night long (every DJ’s dream) and it ended with friends sending the couple off in a hand bridge exit to their getaway car.

“Sarah did an amazing job planning our wedding! We are not advance planners and I had almost zero vision of what I wanted our wedding to look like when we hired her. She did a really good job of asking the right questions and got me to give both her and myself an idea of what I was looking for, and the final result was PERFECT.

I could never have done this on my own. Sarah was on top of everything with the vendors, and helped coordinate between them and my mother who lives on the other side of the country. I had been extremely busy with work and took forever to respond to her emails but she was so patient and everything got done with plenty of time left.

The day of went smoothly and was a blast – my husband already asked if we could get married again 🙂 and we had multiple discussions after the fact about how great Sarah was!”
