Debbie + Johnny at The Laurel Grapevine | Keestone Events

Sarah, one of our Dallas wedding planners said, “I have loved wedding planning for  Debbie + Johnny, and am so pleased to share their beautiful wedding at The Laurel, in Grapevine, Texas with you all!” Debbie and Johnny met each other in church, and a relationship quickly blossomed from there. It was long distance for a while as Debbie worked for Emirates, an airline based in Dubai, which was where she lived.

It’s safe to say that being on different continents was no match for the couple as both enjoy traveling tremendously and have trotted across the globe together. After Johnny proposed in Barcelona, both began planning for their wedding in Dallas where their families are at, and Debbie soon left Dubai to rejoin Johnny back in Texas. Because the couple is serious about their traveling, they incorporated a fun questionnaire at their guestbook table, asking guests where they should travel to next.

Debbie knew exactly what she wanted, and was drawn to ivory and pale blush tones which contrasted perfectly against the brown tones of The Laurel. This was accentuated with pops of gold throughout with chargers, geometric shapes, and votive candles. Soft drapery was hung from the wooden beams of the venue and reflected in the fabric on their chairs. There was a sense of fragility in their tablescapes as well, with delicate greenery intertwined throughout. Their wedding favors were hand made pastel soaps that reflected the pale hues of the wedding.

Ultimately, this was a union of two kindred spirits who couldn’t be better to the other. Their guests made sure that the dance floor stayed occupied all night and it was a cheerful celebration all the way to the end of the night.

This wedding was also featured in Elizabeth Anne Designs.

“After months of searching for the best wedding planner, I decided to go with Keestone Events because I loved how flexible they were with their wedding planning package. They have custom wedding planning package for each couple depending on their needs!

Prior to the wedding, she constantly checked up on me with bi-weekly phone meetings, making sure the planning process was going well. She took care of all the logistics of the wedding so I didn’t have to worry about any of that. She is so great to work with.

Many people thinks that hiring a wedding planner is not necessary but that’s not true. Don’t make the mistake of not hiring one!! I couldn’t imagine going through all this without Keestone Events. She made everything so much easier for me and I was nowhere near stressed because of it. My husband was really happy with how the wedding turned out to be and even agreed that Sarah was a great planner.

It was fun planning my wedding for the past year and a half and I can’t believe it went by so fast. I’m a little sad that it’s over but I want to thank Sarah and her assistants Britney and Emily for making our wedding go by so smoothly.”
