Tzahhia is one of our Dallas wedding planners with a very strong aesthetic, often leaning towards a dark shade to complement her minimal style. She stayed true to her roots with her most recent styled shoot at The Emerson, with neutral shades and a pop of black as an accent.
It has been nice to see a few of our couples trend towards black as a color too. It’s not one we see often, but it can make for a really classy and elegant statement!
A little more about her intention and concept: below:
“With the pandemic, we saw a change in how weddings were approached. They were suddenly smaller, intimate, and more personal. While this change came about as more of a requirement than a voluntary decision (initially), it served as a reminder that wedding day is about celebrating your love with your closest friends and family.
We also wanted to create the feeling that you could host this from the comfort of your own home. The details were picked specifically to give off that vibe, from the mismatched chairs, the simple linen napkins, stemless glassware, and even some of the floral used!
This is an intimate, al-fresco-inspired dinner for a laid-back setting. Most of the details selected were intentional as they were unexpected and moved away from the traditional. For example, the silky wedding gown with a cutout, black shoes for the bride, large statement earrings, and black flatware. After all, rules are meant to be broken 🙂
