Being from Puerto Rico and Peru, Kiara + Diego wanted to incorporate the exuberance of their cultures as well as the warmth of their families and friends. From the cutest his-and-her favors (mini bottles of Bacardi in a sombrero, and Don Merejo in a white fedora!) to the bilingual minister who delivered the ceremony in both Spanish and English, and flamenco guitarist that set the mood for both ceremony and cocktail reception, much thought was spent on the details that highlighted not only their backgrounds but personalities as well.
The Joule was the perfect location for this classy duo with its gothic-revivalist facade that holds glass mosaics and edgy works of art (see if you can spot the 30 ft eyeball sculpture called The Eye!). A salsa band had guests dancing before dinner was even served, and the floral brought romance with draped greenery, boxwood walls, and exquisitely polished centerpieces.
A few hours in, guests were surprised when the music switched to a different beat with a dynamic DJ and a modern photo booth. The night ended with smiles, cheers, and laughter as Kiara + Diego were whisked away in their getaway car. It was a night full of fun, love, and a ton of Latin music!
