There’s so much to say about Katy + Carson. They are fabulous, they are funny, they are so genuinely nice, and they deserve all the happiness in the world. I was beyond thrilled to be a part of their wedding that first took place at Holy Family Catholic Church, and ended at the gorgeous Fort Worth Club.
I always love shots of the bride getting ready before, and the details of her jewelry and bouquet. The little things are key in telling the story all the better!
First look at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens.
Right before walking down the aisle.
The church was significant because there’s a lot of history there- Katy’s grandparents attended the church, her parents were married there and now she followed in the tradition!
Katy is artistic and has a great eye for things. She spent a lot of time on details like handwriting her place cards with little buttons on them…
to using meaningful words in lieu of table numbers i.e. Hope, and Love…
to personally monogramming her new last initial on wedding favors!
Oh, and any couple that enters into their own reception with a ball and chain tied to the groom’s foot is a win in my book.
Here was something really cute too- during their first dance, Katy had her bridesmaids take turns in walking at the back with funny pictures of her and Carson. What a fun way to spice up the dance and show their personalities!
Ending the night to red rose petals.
I also have to point this out: Allen Tsai Photography is so stinkin’ fast- that same night after the wedding was over, just THREE hours later, he posted highlight shots! Unreal. I digress. All in all, it was a beautiful affair with to celebrate two wonderful people. We at Keestone Events were honored to be there and could not be happier with how things turned out!
